About Folktandvården Blekinge

Folktandvården Blekinge, with over 300 employees, is part of Region Blekinge. We have 11 general dental clinics throughout the region, from Jämjö in the east to Sölvesborg in the west. Specialist dental care is available in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

About Us

You will come to a clinic built in 2016 that includes seven treatment rooms. In the same building, there is also a pharmacy and Jämjö health center. The clinic has thirteen employees who have extensive knowledge and experience in general dentistry.

Our dentists specialize in occlusion, surgery, prosthetics, and nitrous oxide. Our skilled dental hygienists assist us with periodontal care, and our dental nurses are very experienced in assisting, prophylaxis, and data management.

The majority of the staff have worked at the clinic for a long time, but new employees have also joined.

Our clinic is located in the heart of Jämjö, just outside the World Heritage city of Karlskrona. Around the corner, there are nature reserves and green areas with great opportunities for swimming and marine life. There are excellent bus connections with express buses and a fully developed E22 that makes it quick to commute from Karlskrona. Many of our patients have been with the clinic for a long time, and there are growing residential areas around Jämjö with significant influx.

The clinic serves over 5000 patients, of which about 2000 are children. In the catchment area, dental health is mostly good to very good.

About the Job

You are expected to work with all three main tasks for a dental nurse: clinical assistance, sterilization, and reception work. You will provide the highest quality service, both externally and internally. It is important that you have the ability to maintain an overview of the clinic while being efficient and detail-oriented. You will work in the dental care system Frenda.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a war position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About You

We are looking for you who are a trained dental nurse, previous experience in the profession is an advantage. It is important that you have good collaboration skills, a pronounced sense of service, and that you are flexible. Personal suitability is highly valued.
